It was found that 36 of 48 children made accelerated progress (four times age-related progress). Twelve Nottinghamshire teachers are now fully qualified Reading Recovery teachers. Half-termly Every Child a Reader Headteacher Network Meetings have provided a forum for Heads to share ideas and progress over the first year.
