One of the most effective combinations of LA work has been the linking of international research to outcomes for practitioners, the improvement of quality in settings and, most importantly, narrowing the attainment gap and raising threshold scores. For this project, the LA decided to empower Early Years practitioners themselves to improve the quality of provision for children in their settings.
