The Key Stage 2 Framework is supported by non-statutory schemes of work in French, German and Spanish published by QCDA. These show how primary schools can tackle language teaching. Some secondary schools have been working with their local primary schools in order to adapt the secondary curriculum to take account of pupils’ experiences in language learning at Key Stage 2.
